Tina graduated in 2004 with a Masters degree in Applied Economics from St Andrews University and after completing her degree she went on to study law at the University of Birmingham.
Tina started her IP career in industry, completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University in 2010, before joining a private practice firm based in Bristol. She qualified as a UK and European Trade Mark Attorney whilst at a leading international Intellectual Property firm in Birmingham, after completing the trade mark practice and litigation certificate from Nottingham Trent University in 2013. Tina joined BRYERS in February 2016
Tina has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of trade mark and passing off law, providing advice on securing intellectual property rights and portfolio management across numerous business areas including chemical, manufacturing, computer and finance industries, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, fashion, food & consumer goods.
Tina specializes in contentious matters including enforcement in relation to trade marks, designs, domain names and company names and has been involved with litigation actions in the UK Intellectual Property Enterprise Court on trade mark infringement, passing off and design rights cases, the Company Names Tribunal and the ICANN dispute resolution panel.
Tina also provides clients with a full range of services in connection with both designs, registered and unregistered, and copyright.
